IBM is planning to open a new healthcare joint venture with Samsung, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The deal will be called HealthFirst, and the partnership will include medical devices and diagnostic software from both companies, the Journal says.
The two companies will also work together to develop and commercialize the joint technology, which is expected to start shipping in the first half of 2020.
IBM and Samsung have a history of working together on products.
Last year, the company signed a $100 million agreement to use its Watson computing system to help make health care more accessible.
Samsung also announced a new joint venture called HealthCareFirst to develop healthcare devices for hospitals and medical providers.
